Fundamental Physics Simulation Research Division

The Fundamental Physics Simulation Research Division performs cutting-edge simulation studies for open non-equilibrium physics of plasma and fusion, simulation methodologies, and visualizations including real 3D visualization by virtual reality to establish the basis of a whole fusion plasma simulation.

We are performing simulation studies on microscopic through macroscopic physical processes, developments of novel simulation methods that connect micro and macro models, and scientific visualization development such as virtual reality visualization.
