Joint ITC14 and ICAMDATA 2004
Topics

The International Toki Conference focuses on topics in plasma physics and controlled nuclear fusion, and has been held annually since the establishment of the National Institute for Fusion Science (NIFS) in 1989. The ICAMDATA is a continuing series of international conferences since 1997 that promotes the use of atomic and molecular (AM) data in various fields of science and technology, and provides a forum for interaction of AM data producers and users.

This conference covers topics on AM data in various areas of science and technology, development of experimental and theoretical methods for AM data production, AM data collection, assessment, exchange and dissemination.

I. APPLICATIONS OF ATOMIC AND MOLECULAR DATA

1.Basic plasma physics
2.Controlled nuclear fusion energy research
3.Astrophysics, Atmospheric physics
4.Industrial applications of low-temperature plasmas including plasma processing, etching, plasma display panel, etc.
5.Lighting science
6.Radiation science and Biological physics
7. Environmental science and technology
8. Surface science, etc

II. FUNDAMENTAL ATOMIC AND MOLECULAR DATA

1.Structural and radiative properties of atoms, ions and molecules
2.Electron - atom/ion/molecule collision processes
3.Ion (atom) - atom/molecule and ion - ion collision processes
