Abstract:

Proton-ion collisions are important for excitation or de-excitation of some ion levels in ahigh-temperature plasma. In this present work evaluation of data obtained forproton-induced transitions in Fe XVII-Fe XXIII ions with the help of different theoreticalmethods is carried out. To express the evaluated data, it is used a simple analyticalformula with 7 parameters, allowing to describe dependency of proton rate coefficient asa function of proton temperature in a wide temperature range. The values of freeparameters have been determined by fitting of an analytical formula to numerical dataand are presented as recommended data together with fitting accuracies. The obtainedresults can be used for plasma kinetic calculations and for development of spectroscopymethods of plasma diagnostics.
