Abstract:

NIFS workshop on "Application of Micro-Indentation Techique to Evaluation of Mechanical Properties of Fusion Materials" were help in Toki on October 9, 1996, as a part of the activity of NIFS collaborative research on "Advanced Technologies for Small-Volume Mechanical Property Testing of fusion Reactor Materials". The major topics at the workshop included the application of micro- (and nano-) indentation technique to evaluation of tensile stress-strain property, interfacial mechanical property of composite and joining materials and hardening of this layers in ion-irradiated materials. This report compiles the abstract and viewgraphs for each presentation.
