Ar^(l6+) Ions Abstract: Population mechanisms and cascade effects due to charge exchange processes between hydrogen- Iike ions and neutral hydrogen are investigated for helium-like ions in tokamaks by using a collisional radiative model. Dependences of charge exchange cross sections on both the principal and angular momentum quantum numbers n, l are estimated from the observed spectra.
