Abstract: Line-emission cross sections of the charge-exchange reaction between fully stripped carbon and atomic hydrogen are measured in the energy range of 18-38 keV/amu in tokamak plasmas. The energy dependence of the emission cross sections for the transition of delta n= 8-7 and delta n= 7-6 and their ratios are compared with theoretical calculations.
