Scope of the conference

A wide variety of physical research is being carried out worldwide in order to obtain deeper understandings of the fundamental plasma processes associated with fusion applications. This conference is held to highlight the progress made in such research on basic plasmas and the frontiers of nuclear fusion, and aims at integrating the achievements to determine the future direction toward the investigation of burning plasma states in ITER. The topics include transport, plasma turbulence, MHD phenomena, physics of high energy particles, plasma wall interactions, high dense plasmas generated with lasers, and so on, covering a wide range of research activities in laboratories ranging from universities to mission-oriented institutes.
