Partial and Total Electronic Stopping Cross Sections of Atoms and Solids for Protons

Abstract:

Based on a wave packet theory[Phys.Rev.A40,2188(1989) ; Phys. Stat.Sol . (B)156,49(1989)] , partial and total electronic cross sections of target elements in atomic and solid phases with atomic number Z ranging from 2 (He) to 92 (U) are tabulated shell by shell for protons with velocity v from 0.2v_O to 20v_O (v_0=2.18 X I0^8cm/s).
