Abstract:
It is proved experimentally that a low energy (<1000 eV) negative muonlike or pionlike particle beam produced by an electron bunch and a positive ion bunch, penetrates though a metal plate of about l cm in thickness without energy loss. As a necessary condition, some positive ions are supplied in the vacuum region after penetration of the metal plate.
