Childcare Support System （temporary daycare）
support a part of the childcare expenses arising from temporary daycare
Support from National Institutes of National Sciences (NINS)
- Eligibility
- NINS staff members, co-researchers, etc. who are taking care of children up to the completion of the sixth grade of elementary school
- Eligibility children
- Up to the end of the 6th grade of elementary school
- Services covered by this system
- temporary daycare, babysitters, daycare of sick children or recovering children
※ Excluding regular and extended daycare - Support amount
- Up to 3,000 yen (tax included) per day of use
The maximum total amount of support is 15,000 yen (tax included) per child within a given fiscal year.
NIFS’s own support
The National Institute for Fusion Science (NIFS) is independently expanding the amount of support.
- Eligibility
- NIFS staff members, co-researchers, etc. who are taking care of children up to the completion of the sixth grade of elementary school
- Eligibility children
- Up to the end of the 6th grade of elementary school
- Services covered by this system
- temporary daycare, babysitters, daycare of sick children or recovering children

NIFS unique points
- Support amount
- (1)For children under 3 years of age, excess of 350 yen per hour per child out of the temporary childcare fee.
(2)For children over 3 years of age, excess of 250 yen per hour per child out of the temporary childcare
Support available in the excess of the maximum amount of 3,000 yen per day of NINS support system. - Upper limit of application
- 28,000 yen (tax included) within a given fiscal year per person eligible for support.
